Clinical Membership

Board Certified: Diplomate in Child & Youth Therapy (DCYT)

Doctorate degree in counseling, mental health, social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited graduate school or university

·      State licensed as an independent mental health practitioner

·      5 years licensed experience working with children and youth with youth being a significant part of the clinical practice with a minimum of 1 year supervised by a licensed person experienced to work with children and youth

·      12 semester hours graduate credit in DSM-IV diagnosis, clinical assessment, and treatment with an emphasis upon children and youth (144 approved contact training hours/CEUs in working with children and youth can be used in place of 12 semester hours graduate credit)

·      Successful completion with passing score from the AATCY national written examination

·      3 professional references

·      National background check (completed by AATCY)

·      Proof of liability insurance
